Grinder's Deli
- 2 minutes read - 260 wordsWhen I arrived at Grinder’s Deli I was pleased to find out that there was a line and steady stream of customers after me as well. The place was nice, though one of the employees was working on fixing the menu so it wasn’t totally clear what was what.
When I stepped up to the front of the ordering line I got a Turkey Sub with lettuce, tomato (come free along with onions), and pickles (costs extra). I also got mayo and a Diet Dr. Pepper. It came out fairly quick in a paper bag. The soda, though out of the cooler, was warm.
I went outside to eat and found a young couple sitting out there. They left pretty quick and were replaced by a grandma and a number of young women. One of them was getting married and one was missing. I listened in to their conversation while I ate.
The was a moment of surprise as the sub had like a trailmix kind of thing on there. It was odd, but not totally unwelcome. The real annoyance was basically all of the mayo was left on the wrap and not in the now too dry sandwich.
The ingredients in the sandwich were good, but there was like a little bit of mayo on the outside of the bread and nothing in the sandwich. It was ok, but not good at all. I won’t be going back soon. I give them 1.5 out of 5 stars.
